Bureau of Interior Geography is an organization created to explore the mapping of mental and psychological space. Its location is fluid and ephemeral, which allows it to function within and between the physical and mental planes. When it manifests in a physical location, that location molds the activities of the Bureau, including the creation of a map of itself. This cartographic production is generated by the act of physically exploring and charting the area, and also by incorporating experiences and documentation from its surroundings and the people who interact with it. Bureau de la Géographie Intérieure was located at 34 rue Gutenberg in Paris from January 20 to February 19, 2017.
